Well, still waiting...

The trial of my niece's killer - the drunk driver who hit her car and killed her and her best friend, was suppose to start yesterday. It got postponed. Again. Probably a good thing actually. Although we would have had the sympathy vote as it is just a few days before Danielle's 19th birthday (Valentine's Day), her beloved "Boomie" - her paternal grandma, is undergoing chemo and radiation for cancer. I'm sure Danielle would rather her Boomie have her treatments and not worried about the trial at the same time. (Her cancer is very rare, but she's in Houston and undergoing treatment at MD Anderson, so that's hopefull!)So, the trial is moved to May. Argh
